CollabAway is a web platform that connects verified travel influencers and UGC (User Generated Content) creators with hotels, Airbnbs, and standout stays around the world for collaboration opportunities.

• Influencers with a strong following and quality content (usually 10,000+ followers).
• UGC Creators, who may not have a large following but create high-quality visual content for hosts to use in their marketing.
• Hosts (hotels, guesthouses, Airbnbs, tour companies, etc.) looking to boost visibility, generate content, and grow their brand.

We typically look for creators with 10,000+ followers on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube and strong engagement rates. However, follower count isn't everything - quality of content, niche, and audience are also important.

You can still apply! If approved, you'll be classed as a UGC Creator. That means you can collaborate with hosts by creating high-quality photos and videos for them to use in their own marketing (without needing to promote on your own socials).

We charge a small fee of £30 / €35 / $40 to access the platform for 6 months. This helps us maintain quality, verify members, and prevent misuse.

UGC (User-Generated Content) creators produce authentic, high-quality photos and videos that showcase a property's experience - from a guest's perspective. Unlike influencers, they don't focus on promoting the stay on their own socials.

No! Many UGC creators have fewer than 10k followers. What matters most is your creativity, content quality, and ability to shoot branded content that hosts can use.

Just apply through the platform. If you don't meet the influencer threshold, you'll be automatically reviewed for the UGC category instead.

Yes – UGC creators have access to a dedicated host list that shows only properties open to UGC collaborations. From there, you can send personalised pitches just like influencers.

Yes - it's completely free to join and post a listing.

You can view influencer and UGC creator profiles, filter by niche, content type, follower count, and region - then chat directly with those who align with your brand.

• Influencers: Promote your property to their audience
• UGC Creators: Create content for your own channels
• You can toggle on/off which type of creators you're open to under your profile settings.

Once you're chatting with a creator, you can click "Send Collaboration Proposal" to outline the agreement (dates, deliverables, etc.). When both parties accept, the collaboration is officially confirmed.

All creators are manually reviewed before approval. We assess content quality, engagement, and relevance to hosts. This helps ensure high-quality connections and protects your time.

• CollabAway gives you the flexibility to choose how you'd like to collaborate with creators. You can select one or more of the following options when setting up your listing:
• Free Stay: You offer the creator a complimentary stay in exchange for agreed deliverables (e.g. photos, videos, social posts, reviews). This is a popular option for smaller creators, especially those looking to build relationships and portfolio content.
• Paid Partnership: In addition to offering a stay, you also pay the creator a fee for their services - typically for promotion to their audience or high-quality content creation. This is the encouraged option if you want to secure guaranteed deliverables or work with creators who offer significant reach and engagement.
• Discounted Stay: You offer a UGC creator a reduced rate on accommodation in exchange for content or promotion. This can be useful if you're offering a high-end experience or want to work with smaller UGC creators.
• All of the Above: You can tick multiple options to show that you're open to negotiation. Many hosts find this helpful to attract a wider range of creators and work out the best fit through conversation.
• 👉 You can update your preferences at any time in your dashboard under "Edit Listing". Creators will only see your property if it matches the type of collaboration they're searching for.

Yes - you can cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the billing period.

• While CollabAway manually verifies all users before approving them to join the platform, we act solely as a facilitator - not a party to any agreements made between creators and hosts.
• We strongly encourage both sides to do their own due diligence before confirming a collaboration. This includes reviewing each other's content, expectations, and communication history.
• To help avoid issues, we recommend using the Collaboration Proposal feature to clearly outline all deliverables, dates, and terms in writing. This helps set expectations and creates a record both parties can refer to.
